Daisy is being raised by a single mother. Her father abandoned the family a few years ago, and since then they have relied on her mother's domestic work for their only income. Their income is less than $1 per day for the entire family. Daisy has three younger siblings. Since she is the first born, she carries many of the family's hopes on her shoulders.
