Mercy lost her father a few years ago. He was the family's sole bread-winner, and after he died the four children had to drop out of school due to lack of fees. Mercy's mother has no education. She farms their small plot of land for some food for the family. Mercy does very well in school and expects to pass high school exams with flying colors. She is passionate about education.
